Hawksbillsea turtles are one of the most jeopardized of the world's 7 staying sea turtle varieties. While Hawksbill sea turtles are endangered, they are nevertheless spread (thinly) throughout much of the globe's exotic waters.
Sponges are their favorite food, and also several hawksbills spend most of their lives in or near reef where sponges are abundant.
